Hi, I am Josias Neumüller.
For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by how things work. I want to understand them and then build cool things myself. What exactly that is does not matter much to me at first; I am very flexible and like to try out many fields. But electrical engineering has always excited me in particular. I actually wanted to study it, but after a year of voluntary service in the ambulance service I went off the rails 😉 and now study medicine in Greifswald, Germany. My enthusiasm for emergency medicine has not replaced my enthusiasm for technology, though.
What I do
Electronics, circuit board design, 3D printing, a bit of chemistry, programming and everything in between and beyond, and recently also amateur radio (DJOSIA). In summer you can usually find me at the CVJM (YMCA) summer camp Mühlnickelweiher, where I look after children between 9 and 12 years old.
On this blog I collect the projects that have grown out of these hobbies over the years. You can find the posts here on the blog, sorted by topics. Most of them were originally written in German; the English versions are translations.
